DOLE-X LDN celebrates 123rd Independence Day with TNK-Job and Business Fairs; 116 local job vacancie

Iligan City --- As of Monday, 7 June 2021, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-X) Lanao del Norte Provincial Field Office (LDN PFO) OIC-Chief Criste O. Perfecto reported an initial of 116 local job vacancies in the province that are for grabs during the week-long Trabaho-Negosyo-Kabuhayan (TNK) Job and Business Fairs, in line with the 123rd Philippine Independence Day celebration on 12 June 2021.


Perfecto said that as of this writing, two local companies registered in the digital portal, a partner of DOLE-X for the TNK Job and Business Fairs, the following top available positions: registered nurses (30); Mechanical Engineer (9); mason (6); truck driver (8); laborer (6); assistant control room operator (4); cadet engineer (4)quality analyst (4); production associate (4); and manager (3).


It is encouraged that job seekers prepare the things needed to participate in the job fair. These include wearing of proper business attire for the interview, prepare copies of resumes, school credentials, certificates of employment and seminars attended, clearances, photos, passport (for overseas applicants) and other pertinent pre-employment documents needed by employers. Since this will be an online job fair, applicants must prepare in digital copies of their resume or they can make one thru Mynimo’s online template.


Job seekers must first register and post their credentials and application cover letters at The applicants have the option to either post their updated resume or they can create one in the site. It is important that an applicant has an active email account which is to be provided upon registration in the said job fair link.


If interested, applicants should click the submit button. It will automatically add in their “My Application” option. To see the application details, applicants should click the view button.

Job seekers may only submit their applications during the weeklong fair, but they can verify the status of their applications beyond 12 June 2021.

Moreover, Perfecto said the PFO is spearheading the distribution of the Department’s Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced/Disadvantaged workers (TUPAD) salaries around P4.4 Million to 1,274 beneficiaries under the 2nd District of the province on 7-11 June 2021.


These activities are in line with the DOLE’s celebration on the 123rd Independence Day Trabaho-Negosyo-Kabuhayan Job and Business Fairs.


Likewise, LDN PFO will turn-over the P377k worth of livelihood grant for the coco sugar/ honey production of Mindanao Cooperative Trade and Industry (MCTI)’s 30 beneficiaries on 10 June 2021 thru the Paglingkawas Women Federation (PAWFED) as the Accredited Co-Partner (ACP) of the project.


Also in line with the celebration of the World Day Against Child Labor, the PFO will conduct an advocacy campaign against child labor on 10 June 2021 at the Mindanao Civic Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.


One with government’s agenda of poverty reduction and inclusive development, the DOLE implements the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP). It contributes to poverty reduction and reduce the vulnerability to risks of the working poor, vulnerable and marginalized workers either through emergency employment, and promotion of entrepreneurship and community enterprises. It has two components: (a) Kabuhayan or DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP); and (b) TUPAD or the Emergency Employment Program.
